Working Group 9:

Strategic HR Planning

The correct HR resources are critical to the successful implementation of the company strategy. HR can guarantee these on a sustainable basis with the help of strategic HR planning. This requires that the challenges of demographic change be recognized early and dealt with via the appropriate measures. The working group deals with this field which is rarely examined by science or in practice and has taken it upon itself to answer the following questions:

  • What, specifically, defines good strategic HR planning?
  • What is the objective and what are the benefits of strategic HR planning?

To this end concrete solutions as well as processes and tools are discussed in an international context. In the working group, HR strategists and controllers from large companies come together with a focus on the group as a whole and individual business areas are supplemented by the expertise of occupational scientists and consultants.
